Account Executive

Account Executive

AVAILABILITY: Immediately

HOURS: Full time - 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, flex time available

SALARY: DOQ

RESPONSIBILITIES: We are looking for an Account Executive to promote MMIC Health IT products and services and assist in the development of sales and marketing plans/ projections. The Account Executive will have responsibility for establishing new and maintain existing client relationships; promoting excellent internal and external customer service; and bringing a customer focus to MMIC Health IT activities. Approximately 25-50% travel, some overnight. This is a telecommuting position, based in Minneapolis.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree in business, healthcare management or related industry preferred. Experience in information technology sales and/or marketing experience in the health care industry. Previous experience with installation, training and support of users of computerized practice management information systems preferred. Excellent communication, organization and presentation skills. Effective and persuasive marketing and sales skills.

EHR Training Consultant

AVAILABILITY: Immediately

HOURS: Full time – 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, M – F, Flex time available.

SALARY: DOQ

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Trains new & existing clients on electronic health records software
  • Provides one-on-one, group and webinar training
  • Consults with clients on their use of EHR software, workflow and best practices
  • Overall accountability and responsibility for EHR training delivered to clients
  • Develops and publishes training material
  • Provides backup support to helpdesk.
  • Maintains high levels of customer service and support in areas of responsibility, including serving as an effective internal and external advocate for the business of MMIC.

QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires a bachelor’s degree in business / healthcare or comparable clinical healthcare experience.  Minimum two years application training experience in healthcare IT industry.  A solid working knowledge of the key processes and daily operations of healthcare organizations with an emphasis on clinical workflow and EHR best practices.  Experience with implementing, training and support of electronic health record systems.  Excellent communication and organization skills.  35% travel required.
