Demands for reporting quality measures continue to grow. This session will present success stories of physician groups that have improved their scores. In addition, we will present ten tips to reduce barriers and promote best practices in the data reporting process.

Deliverables of this webinar are to

1.     anticipate and resolve internal ‘pushback’ to Data Reporting projects;

2.     develop a process to implement the reporting process as a tool to improve care delivery; and

3.     hear examples of lessons learned from clinics that have implemented best practices.

About the Presenters

Mike Flicker, MBA, Consultant, MMIC Health IT

Mike Flicker is a member of the MMIC Health IT team. He has over 25 years of experience in the health care field as an administrator of rural multispecialty clinics; as a managed care contracting manager, and with another regional consulting firm focusing on operational efficiency and physician compensation planning. Within Health IT, he recently coordinated a go-live effort of a multi specialty clinic utilizing a hospital based EHR solution.

Mike has presented at regional and national conferences on topics ranging from EHR implementation to creating rural hospital/physician partnerships. In 2010, he was a member of the MN Dept of Human Services Health Care Home Payment Methodology Steering Committee. He has an MBA in Health Care Administration from St. Thomas University.

Brad Lehmeier, Development Consultant, MMIC Health IT

A 10 year veteran of health IT, Brad Lehmeier started his IT consulting career at a large health system where he focused significantly on their successful patient quality care reporting initiatives. Since joining the MMIC Health IT team six years ago, Brad worked as an EHR Support Representative positioning him with an excellent knowledge of data and workflows within EHR. Brad eventually became the development team lead and has successfully helped many clients prepare for their quality reporting initiatives. Brad is a Certified Professional of NextGen EHR.
